Tips for Using the StatSoft Search Engine

These search tips explain how to use the StatSoft Inc. web site search engine to find information you may be seeking. The search engine is available from the home page, as well as from a link at the top of most pages.

Enter one or more keywords separated by AND or OR. You must search using complete words. When queried the search engine will return a list of topics (with summaries) which contain the keywords you have entered. Note that when searching for a phrase, it may be better to enter the phrase as a whole rather than to separate each word of the phrase by the word AND (see the example below).

Examples

Entering Enterprise-wide AND spc will return a list of 10 documents that contain both the word Enterprise-wide and the word SPC; however, the words won't necessarily be in the same sentence.

Entering Enterprise-wide SPC will return 9 topics with information on Enterprise-wide SPC.
